- * Fine... but not for iPhone 3g ... Been using this for about a year, and it works fine w/ my CDA 9857. It does work with the original iPhone, but I writing to warn you...
This does *not* work with an iPhone 3g. Can't charge the iPhone, can't control the iPhone.

- It's a cable...This cable just works. It's a nice length which is useful for weaving around the dash and car panels. One end is a a typical iPod connection with locking tabs while the other looks to be a PS/2 connection. Definitely the best way to attach an iPod to the head unit...

- * only works half the time ... When it actually connects it works great, but half the time it just says "searching", and wont play. Other times it just freezes up completly.

- It works!I had used an FM transmitter with my IPOD for some time. It was not very satisfactory. The cable connection is great. Sound is greatly improved and control of the IPOD is much improved.
