Testimonials

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * pda mount ...
I am using this for my tilt and I must say I am impressed. I drive a truck and it securely holds my phone in place no matter how bumpy the road. I've mainly used the window mount. I did try the vent mount in my wife's car, but the vents was to weak and I pulled it out of the dash. The phone was too heavy for it. Other than that it was an excellent purchase. I use TomTom and it is right where I need it.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - It works well.
I was skeptical and hesitant about buying this PDA mount, but I needed something to hold my phone, which I use a GPS navigation device when I am driving. However, it works really well. It provides flexibility in where it can be mounted - and it can be moved, if needed. The suction cup holds the PDA mount in place securely. It held my phone securely in place where I could glance at it quickly and hear the voice directions. I was also concerned about whether the device would hinder keeping my phone's charger connected, but that was not a problem. I am really happy with this product.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * Stable device, but shakes PDA ...
I purchased this for my Sprint Mogul. It holds the device very securely, but when the flexible arm is in a curved position from my windshield, it has some "play" in it that causes the PDA to vibrate when going down the highway. If the arm is straight, without curves, it doesn't seem to have the "play" in it. I returned the first one to Amazon for replacement. The second one they sent me was far worse...wish I'd have kept the original. It is acceptable, just annoying to have to put my hand on it to read it when driving. I didn't try the vent mount.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - wobbly mount
Pros: Good suction, plenty of options (window, dash (via sticker + suction), and air vent), pretty good construction

Cons: phone wobbles while in mount, too short, suction too big at 3" (hard to find a spot to mount it), too bulky (eg, really impedes if on windshield), expensive

My excitement waned pretty quickly when I figured out that it would be really difficult to find a place to attach the mount. Options are very limited b/c it's a little too bulky.

The phone holder does not attach very tightly to the suction or vent mount so it's constantly wobbling. The vent mount is supposed to be convenient, but really sticks out too far from the vent (maybe 2"). It's also very unstable and actually fell off the vent a couple of times.

The device clasp doesn't grab as tight as I'd like. It really needs to have more "steps" where it catches.

I was really hoping this would work out, but I think the better option is just a $5 clasp from walmart and some velcro tape on the back. This will have a lot more options on placement and be *much* more stable.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * No Complaints, would buy another ...
I've had this for a couple months or so and I have nothing bad to say. It's worked great. I use it for a Sprint Mogul but it would fit an AT&T Tilt or any other similar PPC device. The suction cup is extremely strong and easy to attach. Adjusting the device is easy to get rid of glare, and it stays where you put it. The phone has never fallen out and is easy to secure and release.

I have only used the windshield suction cup so I can't say much about the other attachment options. It came with pieces for vent attachment and a plate to stick on your dash if needed.

I would definitely buy another one if needed. I feel like it's a good value for the price.

Newegg.com is offering the Plantronics Voyager 855, which pulls double duty as a Bluetooth headset and wireless stereo earbuds, for $57.99, shipped.

On paper, the Mio DigiWalker P550 looks to be an attractive gadget for the mobile professional, combining the capabilities of a PDA and GPS into one device. However, its poor battery life and subpar navigation skills tell a different story.

Though it won't appeal to the masses quite yet, the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is a nice, portable device for on-the-go Web browsing, and it has some worthy upgrades.

Though it's expensive, the Sony VAIO VGN-TX670P delivers a great combination of business and entertainment features, long battery life, and unparalleled connectivity in an incredibly ultraportable package.

This 44-minute musical Christmas movie finds Pooh, Tigger, Darby, and the rest of everyone's favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood enjoying a busy Christmas Eve filled with Christmas preparations and dreams about what they hope to receive from Santa. When Roo and Lumpy discover a fancy red bag in the snow and then stumble upon a young reindeer named Holly caught in a thicket, they find out that the bag they've found is Santa's magical toy sack and that without it, Santa may have to cancel Christmas. When Holly is unable to remember which direction leads home, Roo and Lumpy sound the super sleuth siren and the whole gang sets off for the North Pole to return Santa's bag. Using their knowledge of the North Star to guide them, the hopeful group makes their way toward the North Pole, but finds the road difficult and full of danger. Can the group make it to Santa in time to save Christmas by working together? Will their individual Christmas wishes ever come true? Bonus features include two episodes about friendship and teamwork ("Symphony for Rabbit" and "Tigger Goes Snowflakey") and the "Hundred Acre Wood Downhill Game" in which players pretend to ski down a hill and then interactively match presents with their intended recipients. Pooh Bear and his pals in the Hundred Acre Wood celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve in a pair of adventures folded into this 65-minute made-for-video feature. In the first, the silly old bear plays Saint Nick to his buddies ("I always thought he'd be taller") after failing to get an errant wish list off to Santa, while identity crisis strikes the gang in the second half. Piglet inherits Tigger's hop and jumps like a pogo stick, and Eeyore (dressed in Pooh's shirt) becomes a happy-go-lucky honey lover. Welcome to The Twilight Zone according to Winnie the Pooh. There's not much A.A. Milne in this TV-style holiday special, but it's a bouncy little production that should entertain the wee ones with its warm fuzzies, good company, slapstick energy, and life lessons. --Sean Axmaker
