Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * Starts out Great, Doesn't last. ...
The little side switch wears out after about 4 months and can no longer power it on. The switch is prone to accidental being turned on a killing your battery. The battery also wore down and only got about 2 hours before the switch broke and made it useless. Warranty, was in the United Kingdom so you had to pay shipping to the UK to get it replaced and took about 5 weeks. When it was new it worked great, It just didn't last long.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Device For A Good Price
This is a great alternative to a traditional GPS unit if you are comfortable using a smartphone or PDA. It links easily with devices running Windows Mobile and generally locates satelites quickly. I used it on a trip from Florida to New York city and back. Driving in the city was very easy with the help of this GPS (using Microsoft Live Search).

The only problem I had was that the battery ran out and I only had a USB cord to charge it with. Now I have a car charger for it so that I won't have that problem again. If using turn by turn navigation, it will be necessary to have your phone/pda/device plugged into to a car charger (if using on an extended road trip).

I definitely recommend this product to some one that doesn't want to spend the money on a traditional GPS unit. This GPS is much more flexible (since it is as good as the latest version of whatever navigation software you use on your phone or device).

*Note: it is probably necessary to have unlimited data internet through your phone in order to get the most out of this item when using a cell phone.

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * B-Speech Rocks! ...
I simply love it. It works perfectly with gMaps, Live Search and Mapquest Navigator. I run it with a T-Mobile HTC Dash. Battery lasts for well over 10 hours with constant use (I drive a tow truck so I am always using Navigation).

I storngly recommend this device!

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - Handy Little GPS
Very nice product. I got it to go with my phone and use with Google Mobile Maps. Works great and is easy to use. My only complaint is that have to pair it everytime I turn it on, but that is a minor issue. Price is great and the size is nice. It is about the same size as a car remote but about twice as thick.

Joshua Logan's 1967 film of the hit Broadway musical about the love triangle between King Arthur (Richard Harris), Guenevere (Vanessa Redgrave), and Sir Lancelot (Franco Nero) is strong on star emphasis and weak on such fundamentals as story and sets. Except for a handful of solidly dramatic scenes--such as Guenevere grieving, late in the film, for the ruination she and Lancelot have caused--there's not a lot to get excited about. (The story's theme of a lost, great society, however, certainly struck a chord in the 1960s.) The Lerner-Loewe songs ("If Ever I Would Leave You," "Camelot") pretty much sell themselves, even if they are, at best, only proficiently performed in this movie. --Tom Keogh

"The book was better" has been the complaint of many a reader since the invention of movies. Frank Darabont's second adaptation of a Stephen King prison drama (The Shawshank Redemption was the first) is a very faithful adaptation of King's serial novel. In the middle of the Depression, Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) runs death row at Cold Mountain Penitentiary. Into this dreary world walks a mammoth prisoner, John Coffey (Michael Duncan) who, very slowly, reveals a special gift that will change the men working and dying (in the electric chair, masterfully and grippingly staged) on the mile . As with King's book, Darabont takes plenty of time to show us Edgecomb's world before delving into John Coffey's mystery. With Darabont's superior storytelling abilities, his touch for perfect casting, and a leisurely 188-minute running time, his movie brings to life nearly every character and scene from the novel. Darabont even improves the novel's two endings, creating a more emotionally satisfying experience. The running time may try patience, but those who want a story, as opposed to quick-fix entertainment, will be rewarded by this finely tailored tale. --Doug Thomas

On the DVD

Listen to our interview with Frank Darabont.
Anyone who has seen this Oscar-nominated film knows Frank Darabont likes to t-a-k-e h-i-s t-i-m-e. He certainly does the same in filling all three hours of his commentary track which he recorded over several sessions. Darabont has studied other DVDs and purposely does not repeat tidbits covered in the excellent new 90-minute documentary on author Stephen King and the making of the film. Other solid segments are two deleted scenes, a never-used teaser trailer, and Michael Duncan Clarke's screen test. The highlight is two remarkable tests of Tom Hanks in old-age makeup. Both are very credible, but it was decided to use another actor. The outcome is a DVD that puts the "special" back into the special edition. --Doug Thomas

When Roman tribune Marcellus Gallio (Richard Burton) is sent to Jerusalem, one of his assignments is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Marcellus, a cynical and hardened man, wins the robe Jesus wore to the crucifixion while gambling with other Roman soldiers underneath the dying savior. He later becomes convinced that his hallucinations and violent outbursts are the result of a curse received from the robe, which is now in the possession of his escaped slave, Demetrius (Victor Mature), somewhere in the Middle East. He sets out to find Demetrius in order to destroy the robe and the curse and finds faith instead, converting to Christianity. This was the first movie to be filmed in CinemaScope, and won Oscars in 1953 for costume design, art direction, and set decoration. The visual aspects of the film are stunning, and it may be worth viewing for that alone; however, the script and acting leave much to be desired, and you won't find inspiration in these areas if that's what interests you. If, however, you are more interested in this film for its religious matter, the story of the conversion of the hardened Marcellus is inspiring. --James McGrath
