THIS UNIT COVERS IT ALL. I AM PLEASED TO HAVE IT IN MY VEHICLE. I USE IT PRIMARILY AS AN ALERT UNIT. DURING ROAD CONSTRUCTION IT IS NOT ALWAYS CLEAR AS TO WHAT THE SPEED LIMIT IS AND THIS BECOMES A SAFETY PROBLEM. NORMALLY THE HIGHWAY DEPT WILL POST PORTABLE RADAR UNITS TO TELL YOU YOUR SPEED AT THE TIME. THIS UNIT PROVIDES AN ALERT WARNING TO START SLOWING DOWN BECAUSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD. THIS UNIT SHOULD NEVER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SPEEDING. IT IS NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU AS WELL AS OTHER TRAVELERS ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS UNIT ALSO SERVES TO HELP KEEP YOU ALERT WHILE AT THE WHEEL AS IT PROVIDES ALERTS FOR THIS PURPOSE.

I've found the Cobra brand to be the best "reasonably" priced detectors out there. This one consistantly picks up our friends in uniform about 1/2 to a mile away. Not too many false signals. If you want LASR warning.... forget it. It's always too late no matter what you buy.
