ln today's fast-paced, multi-tasking world interruptions while listening to your music or radio programs is unavoidable. The SKYFi3 features a 30 minute Pause-Replay function that continuously and automatically saves the last 30 minutes of XM radio programming--regardless of whether you changes channels--via the built-in 32 MB internal RAM. At any point during live listening, you can pause a song or program with a single button press. As long as playback resumes within 30 minutes, you can enjoy what you would have otherwise missed. Save up to 10 hours of XM programming onto the SKYFi3's non-removable internal flash memory (256 MB). Recordings can be started anytime during the live listening mode or by using SKYFi3's scheduled recording feature.

The SKYFi3 includes a variety of features that have become important to XM subscribers. The TuneSelect and Artist functions alerts you when your favorite song or musical group is being played on any XM channel. The Delayed Start Recording feature gives you 45 seconds from the start of the song to press the Record button and capture all of the song. Plus, a Stock Ticker offers a personalized way to track the latest stock quotes. This player also includes an infrared remote that can control every radio function.

The included, easy-to-install car dock enables you to mount the SKYFi3 vertically or horizontally.

This package comes with everything to start enjoying XM in any vehicle equipped with an FM radio, via the built-in FM modulator. A low-profile car dock with direct channel and preset-favorites access allows for both horizontal and vertical mounting options. The car dock also provides for a single auxiliary line input so you can listen to an external audio source (such as a portable CD player or iPod). The SKYFi3 can easily be removed from the car and used as a portable music player with the included earphones, and its rechargeable battery provides up to 8 hours of playback.

The latest addition to Delphi's SKYFi satellite radio family, the SKYFi3 is 65 percent smaller in size--measuring 1.69 x 3.78 x 0.47 inches (WxHxD)--and features bright 2.8-inch, 9-line display and intuitive controls. Buyer's feedback: - Very happy with SkyFi3
This is our first satellite radio, and are thrilled with it. Helps immensely on long trips out of state, and while commuting to job (30 minutes). $30 Amazon price is $100+ lower than local store price. Many station choices - we like many of the music stations, the comedy channels, baseball games, and sports talk. Love no commercials on music stations. Paid over $200 for professional installation in our van (newer vehicle) - looks great, sounds great. Bought another car kit ($17) from Amazon and installed it myself. Sounds great, looks OK, but I mounted it low on console so visible wires are minimal. Higher mount location would mean more wire showing. Was easy to install myself, and SureConnect connection to car radio antenna was easy and sounds great. Don't have Aux input to use, nor a cassette player. For $30 for radio and car kit, it's a steal. Found a code on the internet for a XM subscription discount, and used it to get a $77 annual subscription from XM, versus $12.95 per month. Only regret is paying so much for professional installation in van.

Ok, I feel for people with a bad unit. Mine was working for two hours then locked up. I had another one arrive a few days later from another seller, it worked great! Difference was: THE FIRMWARE! I reset the first locked up unit by pressing the Volume+ button on the side while pushing the Mode (on/off) button on the front. The firmware version is shown at the bottom of the screen at startup, my first unit was version 1.03! Version 1.19 is the latest! (16 revisions of the firmware have obviously solved numerous problems) So I went to XM's firmware update page (http://fwupdt.xmradio.com/), hooked up the supplied USB cable from my computer to my SkyFi unit, clicked on the "XM Firmware Client (R2.26} (in red) at the bottom of that page and followed the simple instructions and let it do its update magic. Presto...my first unit works great now, no lockups, just smooth operations in all features. It's a great unit, just some of these have been sitting around on a shelf somewhere for a while (from the original $199.00 price days) and just need this simple fix to straighten them out. Best XM radio value out there!

I installed this unit a few days ago and am very happy with it. I didn't bother doing the firmware update and have had no lockups. I attached the fm modulator coupler to my external antenna and the sound is crystal clear. I can't imagine getting a better product, especially at this low cost.

I am really impressed with the Skyfi3 XM Satellite Radio. It is lightweight, the right size to fit in you shirt pocket or pants pocket and has the right functionality to serve its purpose. The sound quality is good with enough volume to overcome most external sounds, in particularly for me, a lawn mower. Its mobility allows it to be used in your home, car and outside walking or jogging. You have to purchase the accessories for the home and outside functionality. I also purchased the home kit since the SKyFi3 comes with a car kit. I purchased the wireless router in order to transmit the signal from the south side of my house to a location inside my house. It is absolutely necessary to have clear view of the southern sky in order to receive the satellite signal. It has worked wonderfully after setting up the antennae outside in a covered plastic container. The antenna is supposed to be weatherproof but I am not taking any chances. It took me about 2 hours to read the directions for each device and get everything working. Even the car installation was very easy and worked once all the parts were connected. I have had one glitch with the device. I tried to turn it on one day after not using it for a week and it wouldn't come on. After much anxiety I read the manual and it explained how to reset the device. I like most it ability to set up recording schedules for your XM stations. These can then be sorted by various means to access the recordings. The device has many functions and for the $26.99 including S&H for the car kit it was well worth it. I highly recommend this device and its accessories.
