Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * directions confussing ...
I purchased the SCH1W looking forward to hear commericial free broadcasting. I took it out the box and put the batteries int the remote.
There was a message to begin set up....push button on tuner. I could not find a button. I ended up taking the radio back and received a refund. I cannot review the quality of the radio, for me I found it confussing to set up..

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - Great way to go...
I bought this for my wife since she often wants to control the radio from anywhere in the house, and this works great for this since the radio remote is RF, not requiring line-of-sight as IR remotes do. What is also great is that the information about the station and song are on the LCD display of the remote. You can also program the remote to control the stereo that it is connected to via an IR output. Once you do so it will automatically turn it on as well as select the correct input whenever the Sirius radio comes on.

The reception with the supplied antenna was not that great for us, as the Sirius reception does not seem as good as our XM was, and it would very depending on the time of day. I solved this problem by purchasing the Sirius outdoor antenna and mounted it on the roof. Now the reception is great all the time. If you are going to get the outdoor antenna you better think about getting the antenna extension cable as well, as the cable that comes with the antenna is only 30 feet long, which wasn't enough for me.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * Sirius Conducter Home Tuner by In Stock.-- Ships from and sold by Beach Audio ...
I never got a chance to actually use the product. Beach Audio never shipped the Sirius Conductor Home Tuner on time. I purchased the item the Thursday before Fathers Day Weekend. I even paid extra to expedite my order. I wasn't expecting the item to arrive before Fathers Day or on Fathers Day. I didn't even mind if the item arrived the Monday after Fathers Day. I e-mailed Beach Audio to inquire the location of my package. I didn't get the response I was expecting. Instead I received this in a e-mail from Beach Audio; "We're waiting for an update from the warehouse". The item was never shipped. Keep in mind when you order something and pay extra to expedite your order you would expect a rapid turn around. I canceled the order since Beach Audio didn't know if the warehouse shipped my package or not. After I canceled the order I received this e-mail from Beach Audio; "We have received your cancellation request and have begun the cancellation procedure.
Please note - YOUR ORDER IS NOT YET CANCELLED. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER IT CANCELLED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A FINAL CANCELLATION EMAIL. There is a small possibility that the we could have received more of the item you ordered in stock and already shipped this order. We need to verify with our warehouse that the item hasn't shipped. This process usually takes up to 24 hours. Once we have confirmation that it hasn't shipped, you will receive a final email from us confirming the cancellation. Please note that if the item has already shipped, you can still return it, but you will still be responsible for outgoing freight and subject to a restocking fee upon return". I personally will not buy another product from Beach Audio.

It's a measure of the ongoing popularity of Karen and Richard Carpenter that the 2002 release of this video collection in DVD format comes nearly 20 years after Karen's death. The duo's heyday mostly preceded the MTV age, so this 15-song, 55-minute anthology is a bit of a visual hodgepodge, composed of still photos, footage from TV shows and concerts, promo clips, fleeting attempts at conceptual videos, and other weirdness (film of Carpenters albums being pressed on the assembly line? Hey, whatever). You'll see an array of bad haircuts and outfits and a whole lot of lip-syncing, but in the end, it's the music that counts. And the Carpenters' signature sound, with its brilliant arrangements, its lush harmonies, and Karen's exquisite alto voice, was easy-listening pop at its finest. If nothing else, Carpenters: Gold offers another chance to hear that music in all its glory. --Sam Graham

With a gentle tug at the heartstrings, Evelyn tells the true story of an imperfect father whose devotion brought much-needed change to rigid Irish law. It's a labor of love for star and coproducer Pierce Brosnan, who brings just the right touch of Everyman charm to his role as Desmond Doyle, a struggling Dublin tradesman, father of three, and chronic pub-crawler whose wife abandons their family the day after Christmas, 1953. Desmond's a loving father who's boyishly irresponsible; Irish law dictates the removal of his children to stern Catholic orphanages, and his battle for custody is aided by two lawyers (Stephen Rea, Aidan Quinn) who seize this opportunity to revolutionize the courts. With straightforward, unobtrusive style, director Bruce Beresford draws fine performances from Brosnan, Julianna Margulies (as a barmaid who inspires Desmond's sobriety), and especially young Sophie Vavasseur in the title role as Desmond's bright, determined daughter. Sentimental without being saccharine, Evelyn is simple, well made, and bursting with genuine Irish spirit. --Jeff Shannon

Few would accuse Fantasia of a reluctance to abide by the wisdom that what you've got, you should flaunt, and the vocal gusto she slathers over her full-length debut gets partial credit for earning--and keeping--your attention. To a greater extent, though, the high-wattage help heaped over the Idol 3 champ and Patti LaBelle-sound-alike makes the disc dazzle. In addition to pitch-ins from Missy Elliott, who produced and co-wrote three tracks and busts out a two-snaps-up rhyme on "Selfish (I Want U 2 Myself)," Jazze Pha duets on the ultra-mod "Don't Act Right" and Jermaine Dupri wrote and produced the smolderer "Got Me Waiting." Surprisingly, though, it's not those tracks or even the Idol-propelled cover of the Gershwins' "Summertime" that will stick with listeners most. Instead, first single "Truth Is," a sweet, old-school R&B lament directed toward a lost love, and "Baby Mama," a spirited shout-out to hard-working single mothers, snare standout status with their from-the-gut authenticity. Keeping it real is what won Fantasia the hearts of millions on TV, and despite Free Yourself's likable slickness, it convinces that--hot commodity or no--she's not about to forget it. -Tammy La Gorce
