Great Time Saver - Effortless Camera Off-load
Fantastic product - I have two of them for my two cameras. I no longer have to spend time off-loading pictures to my PC and then uploading pictures to Shutterfly. Now, I just turn my camera on and Voila!, it happens!
How many of you have friends or family that ask for your help in off-loading the camera? With the Eye-Fi card those questions will no longer occur!
With the Eye-Fi card - it is all effortless and automatic!

* Wifi network recognition is crippled!!! AVOID THIS PRODUCT ...
The set-up screen allows users to input access info (Network name, User Name, and password) directly on the card. However, and this is a huge however, you MUST authorize this login info via a wifi enabled computer on that network prior to using.
This means that you must carry a laptop with you everywhere you might want to upload photos from. I thought I'd be able to easily upload photos from around town on open networks - this is not the case unless I take my computer along to configure the card prior to uploading.
Heck, I even know the login info for a couple of wifi networks at coffee shops near my place. I can't even pre-setup those networks on the card without taking my laptop there and authorizing to complete the setup.
This hassle completely defeats the purpose of the Eye-Fi card.
To be fair, once you've gone through the hassle of 'authorize' a network that network is set. No need to carry your laptop back there to upload from that location.
I contacted the manufacture about this inherent flaw they explained that it was in fact a 'feature'. I strongly disagree.
Do not buy any of the Eye-Fi cards. Wait for the version 2.0 or maybe 3.0.
