Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * Good Covers ...
Great PC Covers! These are the hard to find covers that fit the old full size PC's, Monitors, and Keyboards!

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - very disappointed
this was my first internet orders and I recieved old plastic covers for big computers not flat sheets as it stated. The plastic was old and cracked everywhere it had been folded. All 3 pieces. I called for a return and they said they had to email me a return code. They never did. I called again. So far no code, no credit. This is my second review to you. Doesn't anyone care enought to respond. I quess $13.00 isn't important.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * Good cheap covers ...
The package (with all 3 covers in it) was about 1"x6"x7", thin vinyl, but enough for dust and some drips. Yes, the prices is low, but they are standard vinyl covers that just do the minimum for dust protection. I bought them for roof leak protection of a computer in a remote older building. The monitor and keyboard covers will work for that. The main CPU box or PC box cover was a disappointment. The back edge only goes down 1.5", so most of the area where the cords exit the back of the computer is exposed. This doesn't really help with ventilation because the side vents are properly covered for protection, so I guess they were just avoiding cord interference with the cover. Because this was not made clear in the dimensions, I would have given 3 stars, but for the price it was still a good deal, cheaper than anywhere else for 3 covers. The monitor cover was big, even on a 17" CRT (old TV style). It worked for me, but don't even consider using it on an LCD type, just too big. The keyboard cover was too big for any keyboard I have seen recently, but again this is a "one size fits all" solution at at really low price. If you want form fitting and nice looking, you should probably find a different product. If you want cheap and sufficient, this is it, buy it.

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - fellows 3 piece dust cover
very helpful and very hard to find in stores anymore

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * dust covers ...
The dust covers were okay except the one for the monitor is way too big, I have a flat screen monitor and the one that was sent is for a regular size big monitor. They didn't give me anyplace to choose a different size.

On paper, the Mio DigiWalker P550 looks to be an attractive gadget for the mobile professional, combining the capabilities of a PDA and GPS into one device. However, its poor battery life and subpar navigation skills tell a different story.

Though it won't appeal to the masses quite yet, the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is a nice, portable device for on-the-go Web browsing, and it has some worthy upgrades.

Though it has a few design and performance glitches, the Sony Ericsson W300i is a quality, basic MP3 cell phone.

Diesel vehicles have nearly a 50-percent market share in Europe, thanks to tax incentives and diesel-friendly legislation across the EU. Diesels are so passé there that you can buy a BMW 730d and no one will think it odd that your luxury car burns oil. Pull up in a diesel 7-Series in America and people would leer at you like you've alighted from an amphibious vehicle reeking of saltwater and dead trout.

But now, thanks to the oft-reported combo of newly-raised CAFE standards, not-so-newly-raised gas prices, and the 50-state diesel engine, GM, Ford, and Chrysler are about to dip more than a hesitant toe into the diesel game. Chrysler offers a diesel in the Grand Cherokee, but soon all three automakers will offer diesels in their best-selling lineups of light trucks -- the Dodge Ram 1500 is expected to offer a 50-state diesel after 2009. Light trucks are being used to lead the charge since those buyers stand to gain the most with the least amount of (perceived) sacrifice.

Diesels currently have 3.2-percent of the American market. Some estimates put them at 15-percent by 2015. That's a huge leap, and diesel still has plenty of hurdles. Diesels will come with a cost premium over gasoline-engined cars. That should be easy enough to conquer -- incentives and some quick cost and longevity calculations should convince people of the benefit. The real hurdle is the nagging issue of perception. The plan will probably be to attack that with a price that makes the proposition unbeatable. Said Chrysler's director of environmental affairs, "If it's priced right, we can sell diesel here. Diesel can give you an immediate poke in fuel economy -- 20 to 40 percent. Not many technologies can deliver that today."

One of the most unjustly underrated Italian operas receives a production that should help correct that attitude. Andrea Chenier is based on the true story of a poet who was caught up and destroyed by the blind fury of the French Revolution. Giordano's music captures the acrid flavor of that movement, the cynicism of some of its leaders, and Chenier's integrity and tragic fate. This production's value has probably increased since Plácido Domingo, the leading Chenier of his generation, has dropped the role from his repertoire.

All three principals sing eloquently and with a fine sense of the opera's structure and context. Anna Tomowa-Sintow is in even better voice than Domingo, and Giorgio Zancanaro heads an expert supporting cast. The Covent Garden Chorus, directed with distinction by Michael Hampe, gives a memorable impression of the revolutionary mob. Julius Rudel's conducting is totally idiomatic. --Joe McLellan

It would have been better, of course, if this 1984 production of Donizetti's Anna Bolena, or at least its title role, had been filmed 20 years earlier, when Joan Sutherland's voice was in its spectacular prime. But like her Canadian Opera Norma, dating from 1981, this is a better-late-than-never documentation of one of the most remarkable voices of the 20th century.

Lotfi Mansouri spared no effort or expense in making this production special. He personally directed the staging, and handpicked an outstanding cast (right down to the very young and then-unknown Ben Heppner in the small role of Hervey). The visual elements--sets, costumes, and camera work--are also handled with great care, and Sutherland's positive response to this dedication can be sensed in her performance as the unfortunate wife of King Henry VIII. James Morris is best-known as a Wagnerian singer--perhaps the leading Wotan of our time--but he is equally at home in many of the villainous roles that are the fate of bass- baritones (Iago, Scarpia, Don Giovanni). In this sinister tale of an innocent woman ruthlessly destroyed, he shows a surprising knack for the bel canto style. Judith Forst is also excellent in the role of Jane Seymour. --Joe McLellan
