I am pleased with this shredder. It would be nice if I could drop unopened envelopes into it...but for the money I am OK with what it does.
I suppose the worst thing about it is its NOISY. However I can live with that. Also it will overheat if you use it for more than 7 minutes straight. No problem for me. The bin fills quickly but I can put the shredder onto other trash cans. It shreds into confetti pieces, it is very fast and it takes 4 pages easily. It sounds like its struggling with 6 but it does get through. It says it does CD's and credit cards...I wont try a CD but the credit card went through. As long as you have time to feed it little piles, I would say you would be happy.

This shredder was pretty disappointing, it just isn't going to be adequete for heavy shredding usage.

I have major shredding tasks, and need something that allows 3-5 hours of shredding at a time. From this shredder, all I can get is paper jam after paper jam, even with just two sheets at a time. This is clockwork, I can count on it jamming after just two sets of two sheets each time.

I have to reverse it until the motor starts spinning fast enough, and put it back in regular mode again, and I'm finding I'm having to hand pull the shreds every few minutes.

Therefore, I can only recommend it for people that shred the once a day mail, otherwise any sort of heavy shredding needs simply can't be handled by this one.

This is a decent shredder for home use - not for business or even small business. The motor really bogs down with about 3 sheets or more. As long as you expect this, then I think you'll be happy with this purchase.

Fellows must be having quality control issues. As other reviewers have experienced my shredder showed up dead on arrival. No lights, no sound, wouldn't turn on....nada.

This shredder shipped and arrived at my place really fast. Thanks Amazon. The advertised 8 pages at a time is a stretch. After I put 4 pages in the motor sounds like it is struggling. I have years of documents to shred but when that is all done I'm sure my daily use will not be very high and this product will be satisfactory. Also, the switch on my model is finnicky. Sometimes I have to hold the 'On' position for it to shred. I will be contacting Fellows about this. The bin is a little larger than your average plastic bag from the super market, but the bags can be stretched to fit.
