Buyer's feedback: - * mount doesn't stay put ...
I saw quite a few very positive reviews for this friction mount, and bought it for my new GPS C340. The mount works fine on highway driving, but with a dashboard that isn't perfectly flat and normal driving on curves and over bumps, the mount and GPS move all over the dashboard. I end up putting it between the seats so it doesn't go flying on a hard stop or rounding a curve. I have it in a Mazda 3...maybe it would work better in something with a flat dashboard, but I'm disappointed with it.

Better than the window mount. It does sometimes slip off the dash on a bumpy road but at least you see it coming! And you can easily slip the stand under your seat when you don't want people to see you have a portable GPS
I would definitely recommend if you are tired of your window mount spontaneously jumping onto your floorboard.
They should have these in the original package.

This one accessory makes your Garmin twice as valuable! No more trying to reach the windshield (I drive a SUV) and I no longer have trouble in the extreme heat and cold with the suction cup "falling" off the windshield. Simply place it on the floor or in the console when you are not in the vehicle so you do not become a target for theft!

I thought I got a transformer at the very begining. It is really steady with this perfect design. The only thing which could be improved is to reduce the size if possible.

This dash-mount does what it's supposed to! I was so sick and tired of having my Garmin come crashing down from the window when the suction cup mount would release that this was long overdue! It sits nicely planted on the dash of my Scion xD and stays put.
