* NEWER VERSION ...
Good update, but still missing some small streets in rural areas - like the one I live on! Would like the option to squelch airports from displaying.

* Garmin Map update 2008 ...
Have only used this map update for a short time for around 400 miles.
Have found it to be not up to date around the Oakland, CA international airport and other areas in the San Francisco Bay area.

Buyer Beware
Before buying this upgrade, I would suggest you go to a local retailer and verify that the roads in your area have been updated. I bought it because 2 interstates that have been opened since before the listed cut off date were not updated. So I basically bought the same map omissions that I already had. What a waste.

* map update 2008 north america ...
It was nice to have some of the updates for streets that have been there for 3 years. Streets that were put in 2 years ago still are not on the map. Also, I know of one street that is .3 of a mile off from its actual location.
