The c330 keeps track of places that you find and stores the fifty most recent finds in an easy to access list called Recent Selections, placing the most recently viewed at the top of the list. * Easy-to-use and clear graphics ...
We bought this unit to replace one that was stolen from my husband's truck. I think the fact that we chose to replace the stolen one with the same make and model speaks to how well we like this product.
Pros:
*Bright, clear screen
*Good sound, variety of spoken languages (the kids love to hear the British woman).
*Zoom in and out, adjustable points of view.
*Easy to download updates at web site.
*When searching for addresses, the unit is quick to pop up with potential cities/streets.
*Very helpful finding restaurants, gas stations, etc.
Cons:
*It's big and chunky compared to other brands.
*Canceling/changing your destination is not an intuitive process. I understand TomTom users have the same problem.
We like the Garmin so much, we've purchased a second one!

touchscreen frustrating... at times
The product is good and 80% of the time, I am happy with its performance. The issue that I face is that at times, the touch screen does not capture your touch properly and your selections go haywire. I try to touch an address that is on top of the list and the screen selects an address that is down below.... this becomes a hassle when you are trying to punch an address and the system picks up wrong alphabeets or numbers. While this does not happen all the time, but on occassions when this does happen, it is very frustrating. I havent browsed the net or spoken to the customer service yet to check on what could be the reason... probably i shd do that i guess.

* Garmin Street Pilot c330 ...
This product is pretty good for the price. I wish the maps were updated , I had one street in SC that wasn't on it, and it drove me crazy. Overall I enjoy this.

Great, reliable, easy to understand and use
For the most part, this has given me great instructions. Sometimes, it would get confused and think that I am still on the service road that parallels the highway, when I'm actually on the highway. If I cross over to the leftmost lane as soon as I merge onto the highway, this doesn't happen.
The menu options are pretty easy and intuitive enough, and I learned it rather quickly after a few days of driving and fiddling.
The mounting suction to the windshield isn't very secure unless you wet it. It's fallen off many times when I've hit even the slightest of speed bumps, and the whole things comes crashing down. Surprisingly... it hasn't broken at all yet. I recommend keeping a bottle of water around in the car to just dab the suction cup before attaching it to the windshield (either that or spitting on it would also work... although it's more disgusting). The car charger however, did break for almost no reason. The spring popped out somehow and it took me awhile to notice why the GPS stopped charging. Fortunately, any USB car charger (like the ones for your cell phones) will work on this device.

* Great for the Basics! No Bells & Whistles Available ...
This GPS device is GREAT, if all you need is the basics.
It does not offer the ability to get real-time traffic up-dates (that starts with one model up!).
It gives great, clear, easy directions. And, the voice is easy to understand.
It does not give text-to-speech. That means, it does not say "Turn right on Main Street"...but, instead says, "Turn right in xxx miles."
It does not offer the option to change the arrow that denotes where you are.
It does take about 30 seconds to a minute (sometimes slightly more) to get a location of where you are when you first start up after a long down time.
The accuracy is very good, and I have never been lost with this device.
If all you need is directions, and nothing else, this is for you!
If you want some bells & whistles, keep looking...at least one level up!
