Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Just so-so ...
I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves all things High School Musical. She was only mediocre thrilled with this.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - It had the potential to be great....
So here's the deal with this one... I'm a huge HSM fan and I was super excited to get this game and to sing along like the rockstar that I am. However, when you start to choose who you want to be and you start singing.. it automatically gives you the lower octives and harmonies for the male instead of the female.
I know others have said you can kind of tweak it to make you sing either both parts but this should not have to be difficult to sing the part that you want. After my disappointment the first time I played the game, I stopped using it. I dont want to have to trick the game into letting me sing the parts that I should be singing already since I did choose the female characters!
I dont know if I'm just doing it wrong or is this a mistake the gaming software came with that really needs to be fixed?

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * this game sucks a** ...
first of all the movies suck a** anyway so a video game of it obviously sucks also if i were id by a real video game like COD4 or supersmash bros brawl girls seriously have no taste in video games sometimes they do but dont use video games to make crappy barbie games seriously HSM sucks sh** go buy a good game, girls who like HSM are pretty much the biggest losers in the world they're like the ppl who think looks matter more then personality seriously,i wish girls would leave video games alone since they oviously have no expertise in what's fun or hardcore and awsome so basically what im saying is that 1.this game sucks 0.0 out of 10 2.ppl that like the whole HSM thing are losers and 3. stop looking at my review and go buy a good game like a shooter or a party game like supersmash bros brawl video games are for fun not total BS

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - Mother of two
High School Musical: Sing It Bundle with Microphone
My kids play/sing this every single day! It can be a bit annoying at times, but the kids are having a GREAT TIME playing/singing. My kids bond over this and invite their friends over to sing...it's fun and they have a lot of laughs over it.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * If your child likes to sing.......... ...
We bought this for my daughter at Xmas, and she loves it. She has always been into singing, and she has spent many hours with this game. The only beef I have with it is the grading system seems a bit easy. Although my daughter loves getting A+'s, she got kinda bored with getting them every time. But there were some cool features such as song and dress unlocks and what not. She still has her friends come over and play this game with her. If you are like me and judge your Xmas gifts on how long your kids actually play with them, then this game is well worth it.

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.

One of the most unjustly underrated Italian operas receives a production that should help correct that attitude. Andrea Chenier is based on the true story of a poet who was caught up and destroyed by the blind fury of the French Revolution. Giordano's music captures the acrid flavor of that movement, the cynicism of some of its leaders, and Chenier's integrity and tragic fate. This production's value has probably increased since Plácido Domingo, the leading Chenier of his generation, has dropped the role from his repertoire.

All three principals sing eloquently and with a fine sense of the opera's structure and context. Anna Tomowa-Sintow is in even better voice than Domingo, and Giorgio Zancanaro heads an expert supporting cast. The Covent Garden Chorus, directed with distinction by Michael Hampe, gives a memorable impression of the revolutionary mob. Julius Rudel's conducting is totally idiomatic. --Joe McLellan

It would have been better, of course, if this 1984 production of Donizetti's Anna Bolena, or at least its title role, had been filmed 20 years earlier, when Joan Sutherland's voice was in its spectacular prime. But like her Canadian Opera Norma, dating from 1981, this is a better-late-than-never documentation of one of the most remarkable voices of the 20th century.

Lotfi Mansouri spared no effort or expense in making this production special. He personally directed the staging, and handpicked an outstanding cast (right down to the very young and then-unknown Ben Heppner in the small role of Hervey). The visual elements--sets, costumes, and camera work--are also handled with great care, and Sutherland's positive response to this dedication can be sensed in her performance as the unfortunate wife of King Henry VIII. James Morris is best-known as a Wagnerian singer--perhaps the leading Wotan of our time--but he is equally at home in many of the villainous roles that are the fate of bass- baritones (Iago, Scarpia, Don Giovanni). In this sinister tale of an innocent woman ruthlessly destroyed, he shows a surprising knack for the bel canto style. Judith Forst is also excellent in the role of Jane Seymour. --Joe McLellan
