Review:
For arid climates or the dry cold days of winter, running a steam humidifier indoors often protects the inhabitants' skin from chapping or itching, allows stressed lungs to breathe with comfort, and infuses moisture into the room to the benefit wooden furniture, upholstery, and houseplants to prevent them from becoming brittle or parched. Honeywell created their Quick Steam Warm Moisture Humidifier for all of these purposes and more, enhancing a room's humidity in record speed.

Best suited for rooms up to 1400 square feet in size, the humidifier's heater is crafted in stainless steel for quick heat production and trouble-free cleaning. The compact humidifier outputs 4 gallons of warm steam for each full tank of water. This humidifier offers users a timer function for running the unit for preset periods, ranging from an hour to the maximum 18-hour setting. Digital controls and the easy-to-read LCD screen enable users to alter or monitor current preference settings. A medicine cup allows users to run the humidifier as a vaporizer for stuffed noses, sore throats and other respiratory illnesses. An automatic shutdown feature reduces safety hazards. Humidifier water should be changed frequently and the tank washed well each week to prevent bacteria, mold, and other impurities from developing, though the heating process should kill many of these unhealthy particles. As with any electrical home device, read all manufacturer guidelines and instructions prior to use. This humidifier measures 15.55 by 14.57 by 10.24 inches and weighs 6 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Stock up on Mineral Absorption Pads and Vinegar ...
If you want to get the best out of your humidifier, you should do the following once a week, especially if you have hard water. We've had ours for 3 years and it's still working fine but get ready to invest at least one hour a week for cleaning and maintenance.
Stock up on Mineral Absorption Pads HMP-12P (you'll need at least one every week).
Once a week, fill up the water tank with lukewarm water and add a little bit of bleach. Let's stand for a good 30 minutes. Wipe off dry.
Also, discard the absorption pad, rince the reservoir and put the humidifier on a flat surface. Put the removable water tray back in place and fill up the mineral reservoir with pure non diluted vinegar. It has to cover the entire area, includind the stainless steel heating plate (the hardest to clean). Let's stand for at least one hour, or more.
When the mineral deposits are easy to remove, it's time to use a toothbrush and/or a wood clothes pin.
Rinse well. Put the removable water tray back again and fill up the reservoir with warm water and add a little bit of bleach. Lets stand for 20 minutes.
Rinse very well. Don't forget to rinse the water tank very well, until you can't smell the bleach.
That's it.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - Very Bad Buy
I purchased 3 of them last year from home depot, worked fine one year, this year the problem started . The water leaks from the heating element into the electrical control system. All three of them have the same problem. I am trying to return them and not getting help from the customer service.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Good humidifier but too much maintenance ...
This was my first warm air humidifier. I'd had cool air evaporative models in the past, and thought it would be nice to have warm steam rather than cool drafts, and also liked the idea of no wicks to get moldy and need to be replaced.

Unfortunately, the maintenance on this unit was just too much for me. I had to clean the unit once per week with Lime-A-Way to remove the mineral deposits, and it was not an easy process. The buildup on the heating plate would get very thick, and I would need to soak it for 30 minutes, and then use a razor blade to get the remnants off. And woe to me if I didn't get to it at a one-week interval! Then it was just that much more difficult to clean. I don't know if all warm air humidifiers have this problemm, but it really turned me off- I don't have 45-60 minutes each week to devote to a humidifier, let alone one with only a 4-gallon output, which is only about half of what I needed to keep my 1100SF apartment at 40-45% humidity. I already had a Honeywell HCM-300T, so I ended up getting another one of those and giving this one to the Goodwill.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - refill is an issue
I bought the humidifier for my mother. When I came to visit her recently, she showed me that it is hard to get the lid back on after refilling. The lid seems to be on, but then water starts to leak out all over. Then, it is necessary to head back to the sink and try again. Since it needs to be refilled regularly, this is a bit of a problem for her. Otherwise, it seems to be a good humidifier.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * Work nicely, big tank, little noisy ...
So far it's working out good. Works pretty fast, water tank is pretty big. Little noisy thought, but once you fall sleep, hard to notice. I would recommend this.

The HP Compaq tc4400 convertible tablet offers decent performance and battery life, though we recommend adding more RAM.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.
