The SD memory card works in my camera as expected. I purchased with the intent to speed the save rate of pictures on my camera. I am unable to tell if the camera saves faster than before, but it may not be compatible with the card. But the card works and the price was right.

I've been using mainly Kingston products for many years now. The Kingston Ultimate is a quality card built for speed. With my K10D I'm able to shot continuously until my card fills up with no slowdown while the camera writes to it. This is a big plus while shooting sports where I may fire off dozens of photos before stopping.

As for reliability, I have never had a Kingston card fail me even while working in the rain or the high heat we can get here in Northern California valley. They also proved reliable in the high heat and humidty in Washington, DC while there for two weeks. Next stop is Mexico for two weeks with high heat and even higher humidity and I have no doubt the 6 Kingston Ultimate cards I will take will stand up fine.

The read speed is great when you have hundreds of photos to d/l to your computer. Of course a fast reader such as the Sandisk Extreme helps as well (yes, there is a big difference in card readers).

I use the Kingston 2gb Ultimate SD card in my Panasonic DMC-FX12 camera. The 120x speed makes a noticable difference compared to the old Sandisk card I used in the past (in the same camera). When I bought this card from Amazon it was twenty six dollars and now it is quite a bit more expensive. Regardless, if you have a need for speed this is the SD for you.
