I was looking for a cheap wired mouse/keyboard combination, and this did the trick. While they are neither the best keyboard nor best mouse I've ever used, they're an excellent quality for the price.

Mouse and key board meets your basic requirements.
Mouse is bit heavy. But at this price, both are good then other expensive options.

I bought this because I prefer wired then wireless, and this is a very rare available these days.

Good light weight keyboard with a RX300 mouse. Pleased that it came with a RX300 which is my favorite mouse. The red light on it is bright enough to use as a keyboard flashlight in my dark gaming area.

In one word......Wow! I got this keyboard/mouse combo because it was on sale and I needed something better than my laptop keyboard. I type a lot for work and it was becoming difficult and uncomfortable typing on a laptop. It was also slowing down my speed a lot since there is no 10-key. I found this combo and it is perfect. It is so easy to type on and the mouse is super comfortable. I also did not need the included software since the hardware was detected automatically by my laptop. I also love the long cords that allow me to sit at a comfortable distance from the monitor. The only negative I can think of is that the keys are louder than my laptop so late night typing isn't so quiet. Overall, I love this product, it is exactly what I needed.

I purchased 3 different keyboards at Wal-Mart in 6 months, manufactured by "MI." They were total trash. Hard to type on, and then failed to work altogether. This Logitech keyboard types smoothly, and keys don't stick. I had a shipping problem but Amazon customer service solved it AAA+++
