Testimonials

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * One fatal flaw ...
An otherwise great headset is ruined by one stunningly idiotic design flaw. Rotating the mic boom too far (as others have pointed out) causes the microphone to stop working - I suppose it snaps a wire or something.
Not preventing the mic boom from rotating too far (by some sort of plastic stop or something) is one of the worst product flaws I've ever seen.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - Doesn't support hands free
Be very careful when buying this model. I tried to set it up with my Nokia 6620, and although it paired okay my phone said that the device did not support the hands free option. There is no where, that I recall, on the Amazon site that warns of this. In fact when you go onto the Logitech web site and look under support the description says it does support hands free. When I rang Logitch about this they said that the model I have does not support it but they do have a model # 980179-1403 that does but it is on back order - it retails for $99.99.

So unfortunately I never got chance to test it out. Certainly it was comfortable to wear and the headset itself was light and not too large. The charging case is on the large side but protects the headset well. Making sure that the headset is securely on the charging connectors can be a little fiddly. I can see why some people may be concerned about the boom breaking, but the instructions do warn you not to rotate the boom past the "stop" point - you can easily feel this stop point and I don't see why anyone should willingly force the boom to rotate 360 degrees.

I ended up getting the Jabra 250 freespeak. It is also comfortable, only takes 2 hours to charge compared to 4 hours on the Logitech.

Logitech have the mobile pro headset coming out in October which looks good.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * Good headset, but small ears beware... ...
This headset has excellent range and sounds perfect. The cradle is really nice because it doubles as a case to keep it nice and safe. Really easy to use, and the battery life is long.

The only thing going against it is the ear clip. If your ears are small like mine AND you wear glasses, beware this headset. I struggled for hours to get it on my ear and finally found the right position, but then I had to keep from moving my head too much as the glasses were slowly pushing the headset off my ear.

Overall good if you have big ears and don't wear glasses.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - Just the best on the market
I spend a lot of time on the cell phone...3000+ minutes/month. Most of the time is in the car (and mine has very loud road noise). I was able to pick up the new HP iPAQ PocketPC phone with bluetooth. I figured that since it had bluetooth, I'd go all the way with the headset also....after much research I settled on the Logitech...awesome choice!!! It fits really well and the volume it puts out is 2nd to none (I've had the one's with volume control). The only thing I don't like about it is that my voice command doesn't work very well. I've found that this is not the fault of the headset...it is a HP issue. I'll figure it out....but after many corded and non-corded headsets....this sets the standard. Very well done guys.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Nice but very fragile ...
After doing quite a bit of research I purchased this headset for its long battery life. It was confortable to wear but the microphone stopped working after about 6 weeks use. Called into Logitech and found out that the microphone can easily be roatate a full 360 degrees. When it does it damages the the micophone (thus why it stopped working). Don't have any idea when or how that happened. And of course there is no warranty coverage. So I have a head set that can't be repaired nor used. If you are super careful this might work for you, but I need something more durable. I'll be shopping for another model.

The HP Compaq tc4400 convertible tablet offers decent performance and battery life, though we recommend adding more RAM.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
