The lens and integrated flash swivels so you can take pictures at various angles. That's one unique feature that helps the Nikon Coolpix S4 stand out. This sleek and compact camera also manages to achieve 10x zoom optics that offers a focal length of 38mm to 380mm (35mm equivalent) which goes from wide-angle to large telephoto. Though there are many 6 megapixel cameras to choose from, this digital-camera offers simplicity and lots of avenues to explore your creative horizons. The essence of the S4 is its uniqueness. lt excels in everything that a fine digital-camera should do but then adds more to help define your individual needs. As you and your family move and grow, the S4 can meet your expanding needs. Nikon's Exclusive Feature System - turns pictures into photographs. Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * Don't Do It ...
I am very unhappy with this camera. I had an Agfa with a swivel lens and when the pixels started missing after 7 or 8 years, I decided to replace it. I searched for another swivel lens and found this one. The images I take with it are almost always burry, no matter which setting I use. I had to return it to Nikon for repair when it stopped functioning (the shutter problem another reviewer described), fortunately (or unfortunately) it was within the year warranty. It is very much a disappointment and for the price, I feel cheated. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Anybody up for a class action lawsuit?

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - Avoid like the plague, good when working , broke after 2 holidays
At first i really liked this camera, it took some really good outdoor pictures on my holiday this year and last, However after very little use and no damage/drops etc. it no longer works.

The camera has a design flaw in which the internal shutter fails to open and therefore photos cant be taken (well a black screen comes out, but that is all) everything else about this camera was ace.

Looking on the internet for a fix, it would appear this is a massive flaw and nikon are failing to recognise the problem. 1000's of broken camera's all with the same problem, some only a few weeks old, some have been repaired for the fault to return a few days later.

Do not buy this camera, it is a problem waiting to happen. I personally will not buy another nikon product as my holiday was spoilt due to this.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Not as good as earlier and later version ...
I had earlier version of this camera and i really enjoyed it. I also liked that the battery can be charged in the camera. unfortunately, i have lost it very quickly. Then I bought this one and i was disappointed. quality of the picture is very bad. using 10X zoom is not such a good idea either, as you get horrible handshake. My dad bought himself a newer version of this camera (s10??) and i have used it for a bit and i was satisfied. though this is not a camera to be taking pictures of sport, even it has a special mode: it capturers many pictures in a row, though at the moment of capturing the picture you see black screen, so it is nearly impossible to follow the object. This camera does not really woth its price. and the funky twisting mechanism breaks (that happened with mine). Now i have Nikon s500 and i am very happy with it and it is also much cheaper.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - Awful Camera Awful Service
I purchased this camera less than two years ago for nearly $350. It recently would blur when trying to focus. I'd manually focus the camera, but the autofocus would override it and blur the picture. The camera tries to be too user friendly, and you can't configure any photo settings manually.

The camera would not focus anymore, I sent it away to Nikon to get it repaired, and they wanted $115 to repair the camera.

So I paid almost $200 a year to have a sub-par crappy camera with bad software.

Don't make the same mistake I did. Never buy a Nikon. Ever.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * not worth the price ...
i was really excited about this camera. i dabble in photography, but wanted a camera i'd have a little more control over, and would be able to experiment with while taking professional quality shots. this little guy, however, just doesn't cut it. the flash tends to wash everything out, and you have to use it even when there's adequate lighting. also not great for action shots. i've yet to be 100% happy with a shot i've taken with this camera without using some sort of photo editing software. i work mainly in b&w, and the colors are never as crisp as i'd like. if had it to do over again, i'd go with something else.

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
