* Great support; relief from carpal tunnel symptoms! ...
I'm a graphic and video artist, so I'm at my computer using my mouse constantly every day. My career literally depends on my ability to move a mouse with precision. When I started having problems with carpal tunnel, I reassessed my ergonomic setup at work and decided to buy this. As another review has stated, there is a bit of awkwardness between the bottom of the mouse and the inside curve of the palm support, but I find that if I make adjustments to my hand's position on the mouse instead of the support, I avoid losing the correct positioning on the support and get the full benefit. I also decided to continue using the mouse pad. It's not the best mouse pad out there, but it does the job.
I've used gel pads before on my keyboard and mouse, and I still use one on my keyboard, but even with those you still feel some uncomfortable pressure in the center of your wrist. That's why the groove in the center of this product is the best part: it takes away all pressure on my wrist. Effectively the only parts of your hand or wrist that are under pressure are the edges under your thumb and little finger.
I started noticing relief from my symptoms almost immediately. By the end of my first day there was almost a 100% change in the severity of my symptoms. I've continued using it and now I don't have any carpal tunnel symptoms in that wrist at all. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to relieve pressure on their wrist at their computer.

great idea in principle...
I have been using it for over a week now. I do not use the mousing surface, which is not very high quality to begin with. The palm rest is a great find.
On paper, this device is a great idea. It's a palm rest that goes with your hand. This compares favorably to mouse pads with a fixed palm rest that pulls your wrist skin if you try to move the mouse without lifting your hand. Furthermore, the designer left out space in the middle of the foam of the palm rest so that there is no direct pressure to the middle of the wrist.
The problem is that it is really hard to keep the palm rest aligned with the mouse as you move. The palm rest ends up in somewhat arbitrary orientation, and the second benefit is lost. I end up taping the bottom of the mouse to the palm rest and the orientation is now fixed. Effectively, I am using a mouse that has built-in a foam palm rest. See the photos I uploaded.
