Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - * Fix Bugs before Releasing ...
The price and size of this made it seem the perfect purchase. At the time I bought it, I got so much more storage for my money compared to the other brands out there. I also liked the buttons over i-pods round dial.

After having this: I've completely changed my mind and i-pods dial is a lot more simpler and accurate to use than I gave it credit for. This sensor touch is really inacurate and I have really small fingers too, even if you change the sensitivity.

Within a couple months of regular to light use- I really didn't use it that much. It just slowed down completely. I'd press the back or next button to skip to the next song, and the timer that was counting the minutes of the song would stop counting- recognizes that I switched it, but the song wouldn't skip for a least 2-4 seconds. It's permanently like that now and the delay occurs with most buttons. It's made it such a pain, that I don't even use this thing any more. I wanted to connect it to my car stereo- but forget trying to deal with the buttons AND the delay while driving: major hazard.

I do like that unlike the ipod with itunes which I hate, you can just drage and click your files around on windows or through your windows media player. So much simpler and user friendly to manage your files and transfer music.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - Run while you can!
Philips HDD6330 30 GB MP3 Player

I'm usually an optimistic person, but with the Philips 30GB Go Gear, it's hard to be!

I've had this MP3 player for less than four months, and the battery has already began to die on me! After looking at reviews on Amazon, I found out it's a common problem, and the main reason to avoid this device.

One year warranty, you say? Don't count on it! Philips Customer/Technical help is both unapologetic and rude. They've sent me in circles many times. Giving me false "reference numbers" and worst of all, false hope that my MP3 player will every function normally.

Remember; you get what you paid for. Sure, the Philips Go Gear is much cheaper than most other MP3 players, but the quality and service that goes along with it is terrible.

Think about it before investing your hard-earned money on a substandard music player.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * DO NOT EVER BUY A PHILIPS!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! ...
Horrible. It is the only word i can use describe every part of Philips 9and im not talking about just the product either- the customer service is TERRIBLE) Sure, it looks nice, and HEY- it even works great, until about 6 months, then it will crash on you. And even worse, their customer service does not care about you, they dont even act like they do. I have gone so far as to complain to the BBB and my Attorney General because this has happened TWICE within a span of slightly over a year- AND they wont give me a refund AND also claim that it is my fault. Do NOT get a philips- otherwise you will have problem after problem with it.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - sleek, great looking
i love the way it look .plus it is easy to manipulate.as an anti-compute person,i was amazed as how easy to use ths device to download songs online..great sound even when hooked up in my car.battery lasts for long. somesongs don't play after a while though, still trying to figure that out.plus i only buy electronic products mad by samsung, philips,sharp.....i am loving it

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * LOVE IT ...
I love this player. 30 GB holds tons of music. The HDD6330/17 easy to use, sounds great, and is rugged enough for joggers. The touch screen does just that, responds to your touch, like the iPhone. In fact it looks just like the iPhone, same black, sleek, look. I am so glad I didn't get the iPod. My friend's iPod, when the battery died, lost all the data including ALL that music. iPods are known for their crappy battery problem is all I can say. This player will NOT let you down. You'll be happy with your choice.

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.

One of the most unjustly underrated Italian operas receives a production that should help correct that attitude. Andrea Chenier is based on the true story of a poet who was caught up and destroyed by the blind fury of the French Revolution. Giordano's music captures the acrid flavor of that movement, the cynicism of some of its leaders, and Chenier's integrity and tragic fate. This production's value has probably increased since Plácido Domingo, the leading Chenier of his generation, has dropped the role from his repertoire.

All three principals sing eloquently and with a fine sense of the opera's structure and context. Anna Tomowa-Sintow is in even better voice than Domingo, and Giorgio Zancanaro heads an expert supporting cast. The Covent Garden Chorus, directed with distinction by Michael Hampe, gives a memorable impression of the revolutionary mob. Julius Rudel's conducting is totally idiomatic. --Joe McLellan

It would have been better, of course, if this 1984 production of Donizetti's Anna Bolena, or at least its title role, had been filmed 20 years earlier, when Joan Sutherland's voice was in its spectacular prime. But like her Canadian Opera Norma, dating from 1981, this is a better-late-than-never documentation of one of the most remarkable voices of the 20th century.

Lotfi Mansouri spared no effort or expense in making this production special. He personally directed the staging, and handpicked an outstanding cast (right down to the very young and then-unknown Ben Heppner in the small role of Hervey). The visual elements--sets, costumes, and camera work--are also handled with great care, and Sutherland's positive response to this dedication can be sensed in her performance as the unfortunate wife of King Henry VIII. James Morris is best-known as a Wagnerian singer--perhaps the leading Wotan of our time--but he is equally at home in many of the villainous roles that are the fate of bass- baritones (Iago, Scarpia, Don Giovanni). In this sinister tale of an innocent woman ruthlessly destroyed, he shows a surprising knack for the bel canto style. Judith Forst is also excellent in the role of Jane Seymour. --Joe McLellan
