Really awesome deck! I put the DEH-P5000UB in with my stock speakers and the resulting sound is wonderful! I can't get enough of it!

Sometimes the USB interface has a hard time with certain songs and will stop sensing the USB drive I have plugged in. Works fine the next time I start my truck though.

Very surprised at the sound I was able to put through my crappy stock speakers!

All I wanted was to replace my original Pioneer XM ready radio, since the display lights went out. What I got was all the new stuff I'll never use since I don't know how to, nor do I care to. I was disappointed in the 2-line display. I thought it would give me the artist and the title at the same time, like on my Roady2 unit. What it gives is 8 letters on the bottom line, and "XM Tuner" on the top line. I already knew it was an XM tuner which is why I bought it. And for some reason, channel 155 (Dr. Laura) will give me the OFF AIR when selected by my preset, but works fine when I scroll through to get to it. Good sound quality, though.

This is a very good In-Dash unit for the money. Good sound quality on stock speakers and looks OEM. The multifunction knob takes a little getting used to but not finding it a headache.

I think many reviewers have noted that this unit has a confusing user interface. This would not be such a problem if the owner's manual did a better job of explain the basic model behind how controls work - e.g., when to use the escape key to go back or the multi-function knob. The interface seems inconsistent and non-intuitive (ok, any new way of controlling a device is non-intuitive, and that is when a good manual can help educate.)

Over all I am pleased with the unit. I wish there was one more brightness level to lower to, the blue LED are bright! The iPod interface works well with the iPod Touch - you can control from the head unit or the iPod itself. My kids love the ability to use the iPod in back of the car. The USB cable is long enough for my Honda CRV. I was disappointed that they did not include an extension cable for the AUX in, which is located in the rear of the unit - so you need one if you plan on ever using the AUX in jack with a friend's music player.
