Testimonials
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * great product ...
I was skeptical when buying a digital recorder. You read a lot of varied reviews and I wasn't 100% sure if this would do what I wanted. Out of the box, this item was so easy to understand. If you are somewhat computer literate you will get it. The only thing I needed to read instructions for was how to turn the beeping off. I think its great out of the box and it looks a lot nicer than is shown on Amazon. Secondly, I was thrilled about PC connectivity. I hooked it up and it played MP3 right through my Itunes. I was very, very happy about this. People who said it slowed down their computers obviously have an old computer. This didn't slow me down at all. I have no complaints about this item. It does exactly what I wanted. It records well when stuffed under a shirt or inside a jacket. I've done a few tests and am 100% satisfied with it.

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - Amazon's WORST service ever
This is my story:

I needed this product over two weeks ago and so, I ordered this product from Amazon. Amazon shipped this thing to me over a week after but they shipped the wrong one to me. Instead of RCA RP5130, they gave me RCA RP5130. So, okay, I was cool about it and I told them about this. They said they were sorry and will ship to me the correct one immediately, BUT then they did it again!!! They shipped me another RCA RP5120!!! Arggggg!!!!!

I called them up to find out if they could just make me an offer to let me keep the RP5120 and refund half only half the price I brought. They refused, threaten to charge me the price of RP5130 if I keep it. More to that, they wanted me to waste more of my time running to the post office to send them back the item otherwise, they wont give the any refund. Is this how they treat their loyal customer!?

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * Already falling apart after two weeks ...
This recorder have been in my possession now for two weeks. As the name says, it records and it does it well. However, it is already falling apart and I have only use it for six days and not even heavily. The button for the + volume have already drop and is nowhere to be found.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - Not bad
Pros
-Good battery life.
-Fits in my cell phone holster.
-Easy to get files on and off of it.

Cons
-When you turn it off it loses that your settings like the speed you were playing at. So I ride to work and use it to listen to notes or podcasts at fast speed. I turned it off and don't use it again till the next day that I do the same thing and I have to re-set it to fast speed again.
-When you turn it off and come back it looks like you are on the track you left off on, but when you press play it returns to the first one in the folder.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * Very good for the price ...
Excellent recorder for dictation. Pretty good recording streamed music (mono), if recording through a mic jack cable, rather than the built-in mic. It records in .voc format rather than MP3, as advertised. If there is a way to get it to record in MP3 format, I haven't been able to find it in the fairly skimpy documentation. However, it's a very good value overall.

One of the most unjustly underrated Italian operas receives a production that should help correct that attitude. Andrea Chenier is based on the true story of a poet who was caught up and destroyed by the blind fury of the French Revolution. Giordano's music captures the acrid flavor of that movement, the cynicism of some of its leaders, and Chenier's integrity and tragic fate. This production's value has probably increased since Plácido Domingo, the leading Chenier of his generation, has dropped the role from his repertoire.

All three principals sing eloquently and with a fine sense of the opera's structure and context. Anna Tomowa-Sintow is in even better voice than Domingo, and Giorgio Zancanaro heads an expert supporting cast. The Covent Garden Chorus, directed with distinction by Michael Hampe, gives a memorable impression of the revolutionary mob. Julius Rudel's conducting is totally idiomatic. --Joe McLellan

It would have been better, of course, if this 1984 production of Donizetti's Anna Bolena, or at least its title role, had been filmed 20 years earlier, when Joan Sutherland's voice was in its spectacular prime. But like her Canadian Opera Norma, dating from 1981, this is a better-late-than-never documentation of one of the most remarkable voices of the 20th century.

Lotfi Mansouri spared no effort or expense in making this production special. He personally directed the staging, and handpicked an outstanding cast (right down to the very young and then-unknown Ben Heppner in the small role of Hervey). The visual elements--sets, costumes, and camera work--are also handled with great care, and Sutherland's positive response to this dedication can be sensed in her performance as the unfortunate wife of King Henry VIII. James Morris is best-known as a Wagnerian singer--perhaps the leading Wotan of our time--but he is equally at home in many of the villainous roles that are the fate of bass- baritones (Iago, Scarpia, Don Giovanni). In this sinister tale of an innocent woman ruthlessly destroyed, he shows a surprising knack for the bel canto style. Judith Forst is also excellent in the role of Jane Seymour. --Joe McLellan
