- * Excellent value ... I purchased this GPS when I began to geocache. The Garmin Summit is an excellent value for the money. It has all the features a geocacher needs, including the ability to download waypoints from geocaching websites. The unit was in "like new" condition when it arrived and it performed just as well as my friend's new Garmin GPS. Be sure to buy the computer cable for downloads. Other units include a cable, so I was disappointed when the Summit didn't. It is a significant extra cost, but you will appreciate the convenience.
