The sleek Sportster4 includes SlRlUS Replay, advanced sports features, a large, easy-to-read display, rotary tuning knob and moves easily between your car, home or boombox with universal docking capability.

Get in the game with the plug-and-play Sirius Sportster 4 satellite radio receiver, which sports a new slim profile while still maintaining the same great features for which the Sportster series is known. Just like other Sirius-compatible receivers, the Sportster 4 offers a large, easy-to-read display, a rotary tuning knob, and accessible buttons, but now moves seamlessly into your car, home, or boombox. More significantly, the Sportster 4 maximizes the listening experience of Sirius radio's broad sports lineup, with the ability to decode the incoming Sirius digital-quality signal from more than 120 music, news, and sports channels. lt's also easily transportable, and thanks to the bundled car kit, lets you listen to your favorite satellite radio programs while driving.

An easy-to-read, six-line display tells you the channel name and number, category, artist name, song title, and time simultaneously. The receiver also lets you program up to 30 presets of your favorite streams, as well as search by stream, artist name, song title, or category. And with a quick press of the 0ne-Touch Jump button, you can instantly switch between the traffic and weather reports for your city or any of the other music, news, or entertainment channels. 0ther programming details include an S-Seek function that stores your favorite artists and songs and alerts you when one is playing on any of the music channels, direct station tuning via the numeric buttons, and a channel lock option. Time functions, meanwhile, include an onscreen clock, alarm, and sleep timer, as well as a program alert that allows the unit to switch to a preprogrammed stream at a selected time.

The Sportster 4 really earns its stripes, however, with its variety of enhanced features designed specifically for sports lovers. The Game Alert feature prompts you when your favorite NFL or other sports teams are playing on Sirius. The Game Zone lists all of your favorite teams in one virtual category and lets you select a different team from each of the various sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and college sports. And what sports fan could do without the Sportster's instant replay function, which lets you pause, rewind, and replay 44 minutes of live radio? As soon as you tune to a channel, the receiver automatically begins storing the audio for later playback.

The Sportster 4 also includes a built-in FM transmitter that sends Sirius radio programming to your vehicle's FM tuner, so you don't have to make a direct connection to enjoy the full array of channels. Simply set an empty FM frequency on your radio and tune the Sportster 4 to the same frequency. This function also works with other FM tuners, such as the one on your home stereo, but is easily paired with the car thanks to the bundled vehicle kit, which includes everything you need for listening to Sirius while driving. Components include a vehicle docking station, a suction cup mount, a vent mount, a DC power supply that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter, a roof-mount antenna, and mounting hardware.

Sirius satellite radio is a subscription service that provides more than 120 channels of programming, from digital-quality music to news, talk, and sports. lt is available only in the lower 48 states--not in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories. The Sportster 4, which measures 4.5 by 2.9 by 0.6 inches (W x H x D), is backed by a one-year warranty.

What's in the Box
Sportster 4 satellite radio receiver, wireless remote control, lithium battery, vehicle docking station, roof-mount antenna, suction cup mount, vent mount, cigarette lighter power adapter, mounting hardware, installation guide, Sirius channel information card, user's manual.

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * the honest truth ...
The true answer to if this is a great product or not is yes, it is. I have read some of the other comments and people complain about the set up that has your radio not directly connected to your radio, basically this is the cheap way out. For the best result, you spend more money--bottom line! It is like 70 dollars to install it at best buy. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get it professionally installed. it is money well spent! You will hate regular radio. Plus, XM and and Sirius will officially have plans for more radio channels by the end of summer '08. It will be great!

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - don't buy
Don't buy this model mine burned up after 3 months of use. I love sirius but this radio is notorious for burning up.....buy a different model

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * get sirius people ...
i bought my sportster 4 back in december as a christmas gift to myself. i fell in love with it right out the box. it was extremely easy to hook up, took less then an hour. I haven't really listened to all of the stations...right now i'm hooked on channel 29 punk. best punk around, sirius has a huge rock selection. if you're into rap sirius is not the way to go...they only have a limited amount of channels.

I'm using the FM-transmitter that came in the box...the only think about that is that you have to find a clear station and around these parts its hard to find a good clear station...i finally found one in my part of town and kept it on my presets in my car. every now and then i'll get static but i don't mind it...

enjoy.

Buyer's feedback: 2 out of 5 stars - Easy to use radio BUT terrible transimittor
First off, I must separate my Absolute LOVE for SIRIUS the company with this ho-hum radio. It's a great radio if you don't need a transmitter. First, let me explain why you might want a good transmitter. For those of us who listen to Sirius sat. radio in our homes, we often walk around the house or in my case the apartment. When I had my simple XACT model the transmitter was fantastic and I could dial the Sirius radio to my favorite station and have it playing on every radio. This was a great perk as often my boyfriend wanted to play his music on our stereo system and I could go take a bath or go into the bedroom and still use the sat. radio without moving the whole system and plugging it in. Also, it was great in the kitchen I could listen while loading dishes. Ok you get the idea....
So the rest of the radio is very simple and easy to program your favorites. It is fairly handsome. However, the really special thing about the radio is the Sirius service which I have had now for 2 and half years. The reason I got this radio is that my Xact model died and I called the company to put my service on hold until I got a replacement model. THE COMPANY SENT ME TWO OF THESE RADIOS FOR FREE...Who does that anymore? They had nothing to do with one of the models that broke and still THEY SENT ME TWO RADIOS FOR FREE. I have to say except for one customer service rep...Who was nice but a little spacey I have to say everyone at Sirius customer service has been extremely nice to me. But then again I may be blinded by the fact that THEY SENT ME TWO RADIOS FOR FREE.
You might be saying two of her radios broke. Yes, my Xact model which I don't believe they make anymore broke. My boyfriend bought me a Sirius Stilletto 100 refurb. for Xmas. The stilletto only lasted about 6 months. The stilletto is a Sirius product but the Xact model is not. I don't know if my experience is the norm. However I own many Tivoli products and they NEVER break...I mean never. I might have to purchase their sat. radio for $300 if I want a Sat. radio that lasts.

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * it's been great ...
I bought this back in july, installed it in my Jeep Wrangler and it has been great from the first day, I had a little trouble with the shipping but that was not Amazon's fault or the Sirius's. I use it in both my house and car it is always great

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, the eighth Pokémon movie, ranks as one of the best features in this popular franchise. Director Kunihiko Yuyama and writer Hideki Sonoda sensibly keep the adventures and threats to a scale that's appropriate for the characters. (The first movies put the world at risk, and while Ash Ketchum is a good kid, he's not someone who can credibly save the planet.) Ash, Brock, Max, and May journey to Cameron Palace for a tournament that celebrates the valor of Prince Aaron, who saved the realm from destruction 1,000 years ago. Ash and Pikachu win, but the mischievous Mew kidnaps Pikachu, whom he's befriended. Prince Aaron's Pokémon companion Lucario awakens from the victor's staff to lead Ash and the gang to the Tree of Beginning, a mountain that is also a living entity. Ash risks his life to rescue Pikachu, proving the depth of their friendship to Lucario. The film includes lots of CG effects, most of which work well with the drawn animation: the earlier Pokémon films tended to look like two different movies spliced together.

The two-disc set also includes The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon: A 10th Anniversary Special. In this 40-minute adventure, Dr. Yung invites Misty and Ash to take part in a special tournament on his new battle system. Yung creates formidable Mirage Pokémon from raw data, culminating in a super-version of Mewtwo, the powerful psychic Pokémon from the first features. Once again, friendship and kindness triumph over greed and arrogance, although the special ends with the words, "To be continued..." A CD is always more compelling when you know it's lifted from the artist's autobiography, and that's certainly the case with Confession, Usher's first record since 2001's 8701. The Atlanta singer's string of hits over the past decade have been decidedly PG-13 rated, almost veering towards teen pop, but he's changed all that on this co-produced offering, which he claims is "the real him." It would be too simplistic to just brand this record a break-up record, chronicling his public split with TLC's Rozonda "Chili" Thomas; it is that, but so much more. It would be more accurate to call this Usher's coming of age record, bridging the gap from boy to man, as he navigates the emotional fallout from the disintegration of his relationship, and the events that led up to it--real or imagined. But other than a guilty conscience, it seems unclear why Usher feels compelled to disgorge his secret life, as he documents his infidelities, transgressions, and emotional perfidy in the album's prodigious twenty one songs, that range from insinuating sultry R&B grooves to the decidedly crunky "Yeah," which pairs an insistent keyboard romp with Lil' Jon's assertive beats, and Ludacris' rather humid rhymes. --Jaan Uhelszki

Fade to Black is a document of Jay-Z’s self-proclaimed final concert; a grand affair that took place before a sold-out crowd at New York’s Madison Square Garden in November 2003. (But anyone who follows celebrity news knows that Jay-Z was out of retirement and back performing at the Garden just a year later.) Fade to Black is a legitimately powerful record of a truly historic event in the annals of rap. Muttering offhand narration with typical bored, streetwise affect, Jay hails the concert as a momentous occasion for being the first time a hip-hop show was allowed to headline at the Garden.

It’s unlikely that the full impact of the live performances will hit home to viewers unfamiliar with Jay-Z and his Roc-A-Fella Records stable of artists. Another frustration is trying to identify the array of visitors who trade raps on Jay’s stage. Included in the star-studded lineup are Missy Elliott, Foxy Brown, Pharell, Ghostface Killah, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, and R. Kelly. One unmistakable figure--and we do mean figure--is Jay’s squeeze Beyonce, who raises the temperature and the roof with her skimpy outfit, flowing hair, soulful yowl, and sexed-up dance routine that leaves her boyfriend and the whole of Madison Square Garden slack-jawed with animal desire.

Twenty cameras captured the event, and some of the most powerful sequences are sweeping moves across the swirling, blissed-out masses as they lip sync along in perfect unison with Jay-Z’s complex, profane, quick-witted raps. Less effective are intermittent cutaway segments that show the artist in various studio settings working up beats and rhymes. These amateurish home video breaks may give some insight to Jay’s perfectionism and dedication to his craft, but they detract from the visceral power of the beautifully executed performance footage. --Ted Fry

On his third studio effort (and fourth overall), 22-year-old R&B/pop star Usher Raymond makes the not-so-simple transition from post-teen heartthrob to love man. He does it with solid songs and a generous helping of charisma and vocal acumen, making this much-delayed collection a hot summer treat. Usher is aided in his musical efforts by renowned hit-makers like the Neptunes, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (who deliver soaring ballads like "Can U Help Me"), Jermaine Dupri, and new jack Edmund Clement who penned the irresistible single "U Remind Me." With catchy tracks and emotive vocals, Usher revs up his sex quotient and unleashes a winning blend of street-honed jams and passionate love songs. --Amy Linden
