Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * Comments on Delphi XM Skyfi 2 ...
In general, the Skyfi 2 is fine, and please default to all the other reviews that sing it's praises.

My biggest gripe with this receiver is the volume control on the remote only functions when you have the receiver connected to a SKYFI boom box (so I read). I use the unit with my home stereo setup, which means I am changing the skyfi channels with the skyfi remote, but then adjusting the volume on my home theatre volume control. The inability to control the skyfi output volume via the remote is completely stupid. I certainly will not be purchasing the bulky skyfi boombox just so I can have control via the remote. I'm still completely baffled, but the instructions clearly say that the volume control option only works in conjunction with skyfi boombox units. Wow. I own a portable xm myfi unit, the remote controls the volume output on that device, as any normal remote would. It's a huge disappointment to not have the volume control. Amazon is great about returning things, so if I have the time to return and replace with another myfi unit, I may do so.

My second gripe is that when searching through the general genre categories, you are forced to cycle all the way through the 12 or so categories to reach the category you just passed over. Again, really annoying and horrible design, considering the beauty of this unit is the ability to search a wide variety of music.

Electronics have come so far in the past 15 years, it pains me to think the designers of these units are overlooking such stupidly obvious user friendly features.

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent value in an XM receiver!
Bought this for my son ... also picked up a home kit, an extra car kit, and a boombox specifically designed for the SkyFi2. The XM web site wouldn't let me add the receiver to my account on-line (the page kept giving a weird error) so I had to call to activate it, but other than that everything has worked perfectly. My son is a music major and loves XM radio ... he takes the boombox to work (at a music store) and listens to jazz and other types of music all day, then takes the SkyFi2 home where his home kit is hooked into his stereo and listens to music in the evening as well. One car kit is in his truck and the other will be put in his wife's car. Chose this over the SkiFi3 after reading reviews, and was able to purchase all of this stuff for only about $125 on Amazon ... what a great value! If I didn't already have a receiver I would get the same thing for myself ...

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * good price ...
This was a replacement for an older unit. good price, works fine, easily transfers from car to house

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - Can't live without it
Great device. This was a replacement for a unit that had been stolen out of a vehicle. They had already created the SkyFi3 and I did not realize it would work with the SkyFi2 cradle. Anyhow, price was good. The features are fine and it is easy to use. I can't live without my XM.

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.

This 44-minute musical Christmas movie finds Pooh, Tigger, Darby, and the rest of everyone's favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood enjoying a busy Christmas Eve filled with Christmas preparations and dreams about what they hope to receive from Santa. When Roo and Lumpy discover a fancy red bag in the snow and then stumble upon a young reindeer named Holly caught in a thicket, they find out that the bag they've found is Santa's magical toy sack and that without it, Santa may have to cancel Christmas. When Holly is unable to remember which direction leads home, Roo and Lumpy sound the super sleuth siren and the whole gang sets off for the North Pole to return Santa's bag. Using their knowledge of the North Star to guide them, the hopeful group makes their way toward the North Pole, but finds the road difficult and full of danger. Can the group make it to Santa in time to save Christmas by working together? Will their individual Christmas wishes ever come true? Bonus features include two episodes about friendship and teamwork ("Symphony for Rabbit" and "Tigger Goes Snowflakey") and the "Hundred Acre Wood Downhill Game" in which players pretend to ski down a hill and then interactively match presents with their intended recipients. Pooh Bear and his pals in the Hundred Acre Wood celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve in a pair of adventures folded into this 65-minute made-for-video feature. In the first, the silly old bear plays Saint Nick to his buddies ("I always thought he'd be taller") after failing to get an errant wish list off to Santa, while identity crisis strikes the gang in the second half. Piglet inherits Tigger's hop and jumps like a pogo stick, and Eeyore (dressed in Pooh's shirt) becomes a happy-go-lucky honey lover. Welcome to The Twilight Zone according to Winnie the Pooh. There's not much A.A. Milne in this TV-style holiday special, but it's a bouncy little production that should entertain the wee ones with its warm fuzzies, good company, slapstick energy, and life lessons. --Sean Axmaker
