This is a very good quality unit with excellent sound and beautiful picture/video although small (less than 2") The menus are easily navigable and support for playlists and album art make it very appealing. Media Player compatibility and synchronization is a plus. Overall, this unit is well designed and very functional. All this for about 50 bucks.

Great little device except for one thing: comes with USB cable for charging from a running computer. When my computer goes to sleep, it stops charging.. I've heard too many stories of iPods breaking after just a year or two. I've had another Sony MP3 player, and it still works like new after 5 years or more. I got this MP3 player because of the drag and drop feature. No more using Sony's hideous SonicStage or any other program to put stuff on my MP3 player. That's the best feature of them all. This MP3 player also lets you address 5 different EQ levels digitally. That feature really helped me get a good sound out of this unit. I definitely recommend this player to anyone unless you want to carry around all your music at once.

First of all the best feature about this is it doesn't lock up or crash, and the audio quality is very good. I returned a unit from another manufacture because of that problem, and decided on the SONY because most of the reviews stressed how reliable it was My ears aren't that good anymore, (probably due to all that loud music), but the audio sounds as good as my Iriver-899. I like the memory size, there are close to 500 songs stored which is plenty for me. I bought this chiefly to play music for my car so the 4 gb size is good as I don't plan on storing many pictures or any video with this.

I finally found what I was looking for...a good quality MP3 player that is VERY EASY to use, sounds great, looks really good...and all at a low price. I would say it's as close to perfect as you can get.
