These headphones have 13.5 mm driver units; while small enough to place comfortably inside the ear, they are also powerful units producing a nice bass sound. Neodymium magnets give the headphones maximum energy at a minimal size and weight. The MDR-J10's clip-on design is hair-friendly and keeps the size of the headphones small. Their tangle-free storage cord is adjustable, making for easy storage in a backpack, briefcase or purse. Very satisfied. I use them primarily to listen to audio books and the radio while working outdoors. The sound quality is very good and they stay in place during all sorts of activities. They don't cancel out noise as well as ear buds but are an excellent value.

They work, they fit great, and the price was right. Not much bass response, which creates an experience of mid range and treble. Probably a great product if you're listening to audio books or podcasts, but for music I would recommend locating another product.

Apple could learn a thing or two from Sony. This headset fits perfectly with my iphone. I truly hate the headset that came with my iphone. They do not fit my ears and they constantly fall out my ears. This headset is perfect I am now able to enjoy music on my iphone. They fit perfectly over my ears and they are comfortable. I plan to order 2 more sets in case the wiring gets damaged due to daily use. There is no need to buy a expensive headset for your iphone, this headset has great sound quality and it does the job.
