0ur opinion: :High Quality Versatile Headphones / Self-adjusting Headband / Frequency response 16Hz-22kHz / 0ptimized for Digital Quality Sound Warranty 1 year
:The Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones are a great pair of headphones that deliver high-quality sound at an affordable price. With 40 millimeter diameter, dome-type driver units and long-stroke diaphragms, your music will sound great. The MDR-XD200 driver units reproduce surprisingly-clear sounds at a wide frequency range (10-22,000 Hz). These substantial headphones feature neodymium magnets for greater power handling and higher frequencies. Five times more powerful than standard earphone ferrite magnets of the same size, neodymium magnets mean that the Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones maximize energy, while keeping size to a minimum. With these advanced technological features, the MDR-XD200 provides great sound without placing too much strain on your pocketbook.
With the MDR-XD200 Sony has taken special care to please both the audiophile and cinema-geek. The MDR-XD200 features a sound mode switch (music or movie) to more adequately match the sound source. With a simple flip of a switch, you can focus the headphones' frequency range to make your music come to life or bring you that much closer to your favorite film star. 0f course, Sony has not scrimped on comfort. The Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones feature an ear-conscious design with soft earpads for your long-lasting listening comfort.

* OK For The Price ...
These headphones are probably the least I would pay for home stereo use. The reproduce the full frequency range, but naturally they don't have the imaging that higher priced Sony's do. My only real complaint other than that is the bass response isn't as full as you might expect. That and the fact that at least the pair I have physically squeak when I wear them on my head. Your mileage may vary:-)
See my review of Behringer headphones for a lower price and better sound.

wonderful headphones
They work perfectly and considering some that i've bought in the past, these actually fit all the way around my ears rather than feeling like they are crushing them against the side of my head.

* Pretty good but not without its faults ...
I like many of you were looking for an affordable around the ear headphones for music, gaming, and movies. After all my searching i chose these mainly due to price constraints.
Pros:
1.Cheap
2.nice sound
3.nice bass (just have to tweak the equalizer settings)
4.light weight
Cons:
1.it feels kinda flimsy (im a very careful person but im afraid i might break these)
2.the ear phones do get rather warm after a while(1-2 hrs)
3.it creaks upon movement due to the cheap plastic
Overall they are not bad heaphones they deliver really nice sound and bass, they are comfortable until they start to get hot. For the price that i paid ($25) they are okay but if you are looking for a definitive headphone (like i was for gaming)i suggest you look else where. also the cord is 10ft long which for me wasnt a problem (using it only for home use). the ear muffs dont really block out sound but i knew i wasnt noise cancelling phones. i recommend getting other headphones
