Buyer's feedback: - * SIR-6 Exterior Sirius Antenna ...
Purchased this antenna based upon recommendations including the 50' extension w/amp -- it never worked with the add'l 50' extension. When relocated to be within the 30' cable length the antenna cable connector end fell apart.. I called/emailed everyone trying to locate a replacement cable - no luck.. Ended up making a cable (RG-58 coax) and added SMA and SMB connectors.. Working fine with some intermittants, but expected since it's now located on the North side instead of the West as recommend....

I have the Audiovox SIR-PNP2, with home kit. I purchased the Terk SIR-6, and Terk SIR-EXT50 extension kit with signal booster. For me, this purchase has been a tremendous improvement over the audiovox antenna which came with the home kit.

Buyer's feedback: - * Good Sirius external antenna that could be better ...
The SIR6 antenna is a good choice for improving your Sirius radio performance indoors. I installed my SIR6 with a Sirius DBS kit which was AWFUL, so I moved my SIR6 and wired it directly to my Sirius boombox. I now have strong signal (3 bars) with the antenna parallel to the ground mounted about 2 feet above my roof line. I wish the SIR6 was constructed better / stronger as it is cheaply made in China. But, it works well for now. We'll see how long it lasts through a few New England winters.

Buyer's feedback: - Way better than antenna that comes with home kit
We had to replace our home kit antenna because I had placed it outside our sliding door and we sliced the wire with the door. We decided to go for the much more serious permanent antenna and are glad we did. We roof mounted it and ran the wire through the attic so we have no wire issues. But more importantly we have yet to have the signal cut out, which it did frequently with the original home kit antenna. We live in a densely wooded area and I figureed signal interruptions were unavoidable. Nope, just needed a better antenna.

I've been using this for over a year now. Worked great when I got it and works great now. The antenna that came with unit just did not work. I put this antewnna on the roof and pointed it as instructed and poof, perfect reception.
