This product need to engineered. It's functionality is poor and inconvenient and also many time advertised as an add on also Tom Tom supply it when you buy there GPS navigator.

Buyer's feedback: - 3rd edition
When I purchased the product, I didn't see anything that said it would not fit the 3rd edition. The slots of the GPS do not match the mount. I figured out that I can use it by using one slot instead of two.

I purchased a Tom Tom One XL and also an additional Mount w/car charger. The Tom Tom unit is great and comes with all the necessary mounting hardware but I wanted a second mount and charger for my wife's car.
The additional mount and charger was too expensive for the materials received and also did not come with a mounting disk that is provided when you get the complete unit.
