Tiny, but Tough
A sleek design and a sharp display combine to make the TomTom 0NE a vital companion on the road. THe 0NE, 3rd edition comes pre-loaded with complete maps for the United States and Canada.

Weighing less than 10 ounces and measuring 4.33 x 3.5 x 1.34 inches, the TomTom 0NE can be easily installed in any vehicle. An included windshield suction mount holds it in place. Plus, with an operating temperature range of an icy -10 degrees to a sweltering 55 degrees Celsius (14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit), the navigator is durable enough for New England winters or Arizona summers. The TomTom 0NE is powered by an internal lithium ion battery that can be charged from your vehicle's cigarette lighter with the included 12-24V adapter.

Easy To Use
The user-friendly design also puts it a step above other navigation systems. The crystal-clear multicolor display makes for exceptionally easy viewing of maps, routes, driving directions, and other traveling information, such as mileage and distance. Measuring 3.5 inches, the TFT display offers a resolution of 320 x 240 to provide brilliant two- and three-dimensional graphics. The device also features 32 MB RAM and 380 MHz CPU, making it responsive and zippy. Using the USB port and the provided cable, you can use your PC to add your own points of interest.

With its touch-sensitive screen, the TomTom 0NE puts programming and operation literally at your fingertips to make sophisticated technology simple. The database includes zip codes to simplify your route selection, and for extra convenience, the TomTom 0NE lets you save the addresses of frequent destinations, making route planning easier and faster than ever. 0ther display features include a compass mode to assist you with directional orientation, and an anti-glare screen for optimal viewing even in direct sunlight.

    Testimonials
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

    Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - * TomTom One 3rd ...
Received it in good time and I have used it a few times. Works fine for me.

    Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - TomTom 3rd edition
Excellent service, fast shipping. The TomTom one 3rd edition is a great little gps system. The only problem I have is after the first initial map upgrade, subsequent upgrades are charged and this is not really explained before purchase. I'll probably sell this one instead of upgrading in a year or so as the new system won't cost much more than the upgrade. Other than that, works as expected.

    Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - * It's ok so far ...
I've had it for a day, with the price I paid, I am very pleased with the unit so far. I am yet to try it with a longer trip to see how well it does the job.

So far, on local roads, the device seems to suggest routes that are somewhat counter-intuitive. In one instance, it directs me to my school in the opposite direction. I had to make a left to enter the campus, while it directed me to turn right, and stop in the middle of a major local road. It seems that it does not locate the address well, it made the destination a little off. I typed the address on Google maps and Mapquest, both locate the address more accurately than this GPS. But it's strange, because, it seems that Mapquest shares the same map that TomTom has.

I ordered two of these, one for my friend, another one for myself. I compared the two. one seems to pick up the signal faster most of the time, and with more satellites captured. the other one seems to be much louder when turned to the loudest volume. They are the exact same units, i do not know why they would perform differently. weird. I guess every gps is different even for the same brand and model.

I am primarily using this device when I travel to new places I never been to, for familiar places, i'd prefer not to use it. More reviews later.

Buyer's feedback: 3 out of 5 stars - Not reliable
Quite often this GPS gives you not an optimal direction, then when you pursue a different way the device is trying to reposition itself and confuses you. Also, the voice directions do not call the streets names which is inconvenient.

    Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * I loved my wife's so much, I bought my own ...
We got a TomTom ONE for Christmas from my aunt, and we loved it so much that I had trouble sharing it with my wife. So...I went out and bought my own.

I've tried the Garmin nuvi and the TeleNav on my Blackberry, and neither one was as intuitive or helpful. They all got me from point A to point B, but not as "comfortably." One specific example of what I mean by this is that when I miss a turn, the Garmin nuvi plotted a new route and started telling me to make new turns. I wasn't sure if it was turning me around to get back to my original route, or if it had simply plotted a new go-forward route for me. When doing the same thing with the TomTom, when it wanted me to turn around, it told me "Turn around when possible." and then proceeded to guide me through turns that would get be back to my original route. When it wanted me to simply follow a new go-forward route, it omitted the "turn around" message, and simply continued providing turn guidance. It's these little things that make a difference for me, and I just like the way TomTom implemented them.

There are but two kinds of people in the world: Those captivated by Baz Luhrmann's heady, postmodernist musical romp Moulin Rouge--and everybody else. Oddly, the film's initial soundtrack release may have been the project's most traditional element, marketing a slate of pop-star contributions that gave listeners a sometimes-skewed perspective on its true musical charms. This follow-up corrects much of that oversight, offering original film versions of "Sparkling Diamonds" (the lavish, Nicole Kidman-performed medley of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and "Material Girl"), Jim Broadbent's and Richard Roxburgh's loopy take on "Like a Virgin," as well as the lively Offenbach "Can Can" parody "The Pitch (Spectacular Spectacular)." It also pays homage to the efforts of composer Craig Armstrong, whose quietly compelling underscore often binds the film's other far-flung musical influences together, be they stately orchestral readings of Elton John's "Your Song," a dramatic arrangement for Kidman and Ewan MacGregor's original film duet of "Come What May," or his dark, melodramatic take on Queen's "The Show Must Go On." The first Moulin Rouge soundtrack collection flaunted the film's bold, cross-genre ambitions; this one chronicles its nakedly emotional heart and soul. --Jerry McCulley
    $9.98

It would be easy to dismiss Kelly Osbourne's musical ambitions based on 1) Her royally obnoxious behavior on the family's MTV reality series, 2) Her overly manufactured debut album, Shut Up, and 3) That voice, which up until now, sounded like cats on a chalkboard. But spare a moment for the bratty singer's follow-up effort, a remarkably faithful new-wave throwback, which generously references everyone from Duran Duran to Missing Persons. Producer Linda Perry not only effectively revives the dramatic sounds and melodies of the era but offers songs that perfectly suit Osbourne's, er, constrained vocal range. The resulting disc is full of guilty pleasures like "Uh Oh" and "Redlight," tunes that should strike a chord with anyone that still gets a thrill out of happening upon basic cable reruns of "Sixteen Candles." --Aidin Vaziri
