TomTom's 3rd edition update to the world's bestselling (as of this writing, 8/30/08) portable navigation device features an updated chipset that provides better satellite lock and TomTom's new MapShare technology that lets you add your own map corrections and points of interest, then upload your corrections to and download other corrections from millions of other TomTom users via the TomTom H0ME website.

MapShare lets you add your own map corrections and P0ls, then share them with the entire TomTom user community via the TomTom H0ME website.

Even though the 0NE, 3rd Edition is TomTom's entry-level portable GPS vehicle navigation device, it remains a complete solution with an incredible range of features.


Tiny, but Tough
A sleek design and a sharp display combine to make the TomTom 0NE a vital companion on the road. THe 0NE, 3rd edition comes pre-loaded with complete maps for the United States and Canada.



Weighing less than 10 ounces and measuring 4.33 x 3.5 x 1.34 inches, the TomTom 0NE can be easily installed in any vehicle. An included windshield suction mount holds it in place. Plus, with an operating temperature range of an icy -10 degrees to a sweltering 55 degrees Celsius (14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit), the navigator is durable enough for New England winters or Arizona summers. The TomTom 0NE is powered by an internal lithium ion battery that can be charged from your vehicle's cigarette lighter with the included 12-24V adapter.




Easy To Use
The user-friendly design also puts it a step above other navigation systems. The crystal-clear multicolor display makes for exceptionally easy viewing of maps, routes, driving directions, and other traveling information, such as mileage and distance. Measuring 3.5 inches, the TFT display offers a resolution of 320 x 240 to provide brilliant two- and three-dimensional graphics. Buyer's feedback: - * Time saver ...
I got right to my destination. Much of the time it just sits on the shelf, but when I need it, I can count on it to get me there. One thing I really like is if I go off my planned route, the GPS will redirect me back on track. I can program it ahead and turn it on when I leave. One time I turned it on and the battery was dead, so I plugged it into the car cigarette lighter and it worked fine. It tells what time you should arrive at your destination and readjusts the time if you stop or are held up in traffic. I've only had one problem with it. At the end of a trip I turned it off about 5 miles from home because we didn't go right home. Next time I used it, it repeatedly wanted to finish that trip. Somehow I managed to clear it, after much time and effort. I thought I would have to drive back to where we shut it off and finish the trip. So now I just leave it on until I get home. I'm glad I bought it because sometimes you just have to be somewhere on time, or in my case you just have to get somewhere without driving through 5 states.

I bought this product for replacement when i bought a new vehicle, my other vehicle had a built in navigation. the thing i am most dissapointed about is that they advertise that the current traffic problems and gas station prices will be viewable. however they fail to mention that this requires an additional peice of equipment that cost over 150 dollars. as for the navigation itself it is great. has a few bugs, but is better than any other GPS i have dealt with. it is very user freindly and easy to understand. would reccomend to someone with basic navigational needs like myself.

Great unit especially for the price. It's accurate about 95% of the time, but occasionally will lead you through stoplights when there is a faster way to get there. It occasionally will give non-sensical directions like take a left when driving down the interstate.

You can update over the USB port and download other voices. I've got the crocodile hunter up now, and it's entertaining to hear some of the comments that he makes.

I used it about anywhere I go now. I even take it with me in different cities when I've parked my car. Can set that location in memory, and the unit will direct you back to your car at the end of the evening.

Best money I've spent for a gadget in a long time!

I bought this specifically to help me find my way around Portland and Seattle so I wouldn't miss my cruise to Alaska. This made things SO much easier than trying to read printed map directions while in traffic. Even found myself talking to it...lol

My wife Just got a Nuvi 200 as a gift. I like the unit, but the map update was a pain in the butt. On the Tom Top it was a snap.
