Testimonials

Buyer's feedback: 5 out of 5 stars - * Awesome LCD ...
I purchased this for a great price, and was unsure of the brand name.

That said this turned out to be a wonderful screen, with a 3 year warranty. I also own a 22inch Samsung screen, which is truly beautiful, but at nearly 3 times the price of the V7 D19W12 I purchased. Also the colors are great, not professional NEC quality, but very accurate.

I recommend you play with the settings and get the contrast just right.

Buyer's feedback: 4 out of 5 stars - Surprisingly good monitor from an unheard-of brand
I picked this monitor up after returning a previously-purchased Hanns-G 21.6" monitor. Having never heard of the v7 brand before and with there being no professional reviews online that I could find, I have to say that I'm more than satisfied with the quality and value of this display and glad I went out on a limb and gave them a shot. Both this and the Hanns-G are TN panel-types, but I found that the poor viewing angles inherent in TN panels make any monitor larger than a 19" not worth owning (thus the Hanns-G had to go back)--and good luck finding a well-priced 19" or 22" widescreen that isn't a TN panel. Anyway, this monitor has a great picture, marred only by the aforementioned viewing angle and a bit of light bleed at the top and bottom of the screen (but again, totally normal for a TN panel, and not really bad at all in comparison to other monitors out there). Movies and games (especially) look great on this screen. To sum up, it's a perfectly fine value-priced TN panel-type display.

What really set this monitor apart from other cheap displays for me, though, was the quality of its construction. The V7's stand is solid and thick, with no wobbling present (unlike the Hanns-G I had), and the attractive bezel is 2-toned in black- and silver-colored plastic, matching my desktop and keyboard nicely. Overall, this display has a nice, solid feel to it. It can be hard to differentiate from one 19" to another based on the quality of the panel/picture quality, since there are only a very few different manufacturers of the panels in the world. Chances are that many different displays (Dell, Samsung, Viewsonic, etc) are sporting the exact same panel. It doesn't help that companies try to keep under wraps the source of their panels.

**(Unlike another reviewer here, I own this actual monitor--my review isn't based on a different V7 display I've owned.)

Buyer's feedback: 1 out of 5 stars - * Bad product/ no guarantees ...
I bought a V7 from Staples Office Supply on line. It died in 4 months. Had a 3 year guarantee. The manufacture gave me no response after many attempts. And there was several problems with staples also. So don't do it. Buy another item. Thanks from "Kuulbobs" long time buyer & seller on Amazon
